  1. I love you guys, you are true American patriots. I know you guys may be Canadian but you are truly American patriots❤❤❤❤

  2. I don’t like being an anti-feminist, but it’s the challenge life has thrown at me, no matter how much I try to believe that everyone is an individual, girls somehow always find a way to remind me that they’re all exactly the same. I used to believe in equality, in some ways I still do, but women clearly don’t, I don’t want to say such terrible things, but they need to be said, and if I don’t then who else will?

  3. I’m always confused by messages like this, hurry and achieve things before you die!!… and then what? this so called path of death, they are both paths of death… I honestly don’t believe all humans have these huge desires to achieve massive things and think that every minute is of such value that to "waste" one is a crime against yourself… many people are extremely happy working whatever job, having a decent partner, raising kids and relaxing… the message in this video is not for everyone, i think it would be a frustrating life to think you always need to be achieving things and having massive goals… in 2 generations your name will never ever be spoken of again and what you did or did not do will be completely and utterly irrelevant… just do you whatever that looks like, if its working whatever job and playing video games in your free time…perfect, if its creating multi million dollar companies and hardly sleeping… perfect… at the end of the day they are both of the exact same value to the human who is true to themselves and knows what they want which can literally be anything at all

  4. There’s now a Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy entry on transformative experience which is interesting further reading.

  6. You have to self transform and self transcend…actualize…I can’t hide in a sea of self-pity…its a morass.

  7. There are some battle’s we just can’t win, that’s the ultimate truth of the matter, and we do not have full control of our lives at all..!

  8. Do you have the courage to act in the face of these feelings or not? Those who find that courage will live far better lives than those who coward to face their fears."Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain."(Ralph Walso Emerson)

  9. Can you tell this academy to stop giving bribes to YT channel to put it in my playlists? I don’t watch it, i don’t want it in my playlists… I reported it to YT and these ppl keep it on my channel by force

  10. This is the single most important video that must be re-watched again and again by everyone till it becomes a part of their thought process.

  11. A really interesting video with lots of great quotes by Jung, Thoreau and Jacobi. However, like so many of the videos in this genre, the problem is easy to present and describe – but no one other than Jeremy Griffith (Australian Biologist) describes the solution to our ‘inner discord’. For example, Jacobi wrote this, "He is not guilty of any bad deed, he has not given way to an illicit impulse and yet he is plagued by uncertainty, discontent, despair, and above all anxiety – a constant, indefinable anxiety." And Thoreaux talked about "The mass of men (who) lead lives of quiet desperation." "We cannot change anything unless we accept it (the problem with ourselves)" wrote Carl Jung. Griffith is the first to describe both the problem (that a fight broke out between our two learning systems – gene based and nerve based) and that has produced the human condition. Now that we understand where our good and bad conflicted state comes from, we can fix it. Read more here: https://www.humancondition.com/

  12. Thank you!
-often feeling regret/anxiety/depressed is due to all the actions and inactions we’ve taken til now, therefore indicates we need to take purposeful actions for a new 2nd chapter of life. Purposeful actions is the ONLY way to change. Meditation/introspection (aka staying in thoughts) is nice but not enough to make external changes. ACTION is the only way.

-Purposeful actions entails focusing ONLY on just doing the action itself, NOT on the feelings of fear/anxiety we’ve programmed ourselves to feel.

Remember, you’re going to die soon (“Momento Mori”). If you knew you’d die today, odds are you’d be regretful. However if you at least took some purposeful action despite the fear/anxiety, you’d feel better off knowing you took some control of your life beforehand.
So keep taking purposeful action every day – there is no “perfect time” to act, other than Now. Don’t reflect on the past, just focus on acting Now. Don’t fear embarrassment, failure, or rejection of your actions – feel embarrassed and like a failure only if you don’t take action.

After taking enough purposeful action, the feelings of fear/anxiety will gradually fade away and even be replaced by positive feelings of confidence, satisfaction, and joy.

  13. Philosophy will take a huge turn when the truth comes out that other beings that are not of human form have interacted with us for a long time

  14. This has inspired me to take action with grad school. I said f*ck it this year and I finished my mcat, studied 5 months to do so because I hadn’t been taking action before that. But I finally finished it, did decent and I am proud of that.

However, I still find myself unsure of my path in life and question my choices and give into fear and indecision, whereas if I just took on something I’m curious about like going to med school or a health professions school, I will have crushed my doubt and took some type of damn action. So now y next step is to get in my applications to schools and take on some responsibility, foster my skills, and move forward. Because like this video says, sitting around trying to think about the perfect path and giving into fears and perfectionism is akin to being a damn fool. We give so much weight to finally taking action that when we do it, it ends up being nothing. And we’re amazed that we didnt try something earlier because it really wasnt that bad of something. Remember we are all going to die is very important, because it takes away the pressure of having to do something so correct and just instead taking some kind of action.

  15. as a person without much energy level acting doesnt tend to be a great option a lot of the time. sometimes u need a break and a distraction and let the situation change.

  16. Your actions and inactions determine your thoughts, and your thoughts determine your actions.
….Staying in thought and not taking action will only lead to negative thoughts and more inaction.

So take action and that will change your thoughts for the better, and you’ll continue to take actions, form positive thoughts, and repeat this cycle!

  17. Literally the best youtube channel ever, thank you man. Such profound & relatable topics on every video, bravo.

  18. I am so glad i found this channel. Its time for a rebirth in myself. No more weed, no more cigarettes, and then no more caffeine because I’m not trying to be completely debilitated while maintaining my responsibilities. I have so many books to read now by all of the authors I’ve just discovered thanks to this channel.

  19. Satan and his ilk have all of us deaf, dumb and blind to reality. We are here to serve one another and suffer this mortal coil and through amelioration become more the person He knows us to be. If we all served each other, everyone’s needs would be met. Our society does the exact opposite though and trains those to serve only themselves. Leaving the world cold and hateful.

  20. I love the words but more, l love the pictures and sketches. I want them to stay for longer to study them.

  21. I often think about self-actualization as a seemingly positive trait that is also fueled by self-hate. The need to change, to be better according to some external standard.

  22. Change happens when you have no other choice. It forces itself on you. When you hit rock bottom you often ricochet back upwards.
