Meditation Is Easier Than You Think

Meditation Is Easier Than You Think

Many of us are currently facing unprecedented challenges in our lives. Meditation can provide us with the tools necessary to recognize our innate potential and increase our well-being, regardless of circumstance.

The key here is understanding what meditation actually means. Meditation goes beyond the serene or blissed-out mindfulness presented in pop-culture. It is not a zombie-like state that is free from thought and emotion, either.

As elucidated by Mingyur Rinpoche, meditation is a process of discovery — a path of realising the inherent potential that exists within each of us.

During this event, you will explore the core elements of meditation, including awareness, compassion, and wisdom. Join us and discover your true potential: https://tergar.org/beyond-mindfulness-webinar

  1. "Meditation is easier than you think"…after watching this explanation it sounds harder than I thought. What’s the difference between meditation and just sitting there doing nothing??

  6. "I started using Planet Ayurveda Brahmi capsules for my mental clarity, and the results have been great. I feel more energetic and focused throughout the day

  7. I am a graduate of several Berkeley Psychic Institutes programs. I spent about $20000 over the years. Since April 2022, unwillingly I got on a mental torturing system while unconscious, I paid extra $1000 to R Brewster/Divine Healing center as they requested over the phone. This system has been creating weird images n voices in my space except when I’m asleep. It’s very dangerous as I involuntary dropping stuff in the kitchen n I was pushed by invisible hands while walking in public. They told me I should vent on a regular basis, I was told at times the system is a Russian spy training system that mostly protects only white and married graduates, as the Russian system dislikes unmarried minorities, especially single male lotus !! Pain & punishment from NL, TH, VMR, WWW etc, I have more evidence….., One of the main evidence is that the old BPI building sold to a Tibetan spiritual community!

  8. So actually I’m very often hyper aware of things. It’s annoying. It’s like OCD. Can’t get anything done without overthinking… it doesn’t flow like a gentle river.

  9. It’s no longer about meditation.

rest as awareness… simplest, requires no striving, maintaning, seeking. It is the technique the result and the goal without any of those being manufactured.

    rest
    as
    awareness.

  10. I’ve been heavily stressed out for about 6 years. I cannot fix the problems I’m stressed out about. I need help to let go of these destructive thought processes, and embrace what beauty I can find in this creation.
I started back praying today. That’s a step in the right direction. Now, I need to learn to meditate, clear my mind, and stop worrying about everything.
Dear Lord God in Heaven, help this wretched man be the best I can be. Amen

  11. Funniest thing is I can EASILY meditate the way you recommend. Problem is when I reach that state I don’t give a f about anything. It actually makes me not committed to my resposibiliets etc. It’s actually quite adicctive and not good. It’s a bit like being a useless plant I realised. Now I just need to find balance between that hyperactive life and cool calmness.

  12. What do you do if you feel like yourself "listening" is actually being turned into generating thoughts? Like when I try to listen, what functionally happens in my mind is I generate thoughts because I’m deeply subconsciously attached to my thoughts, so my experience is I AM the thoughts. So when you ARE the thoughts, how do you listen to them, when actually you are just turning into more thoughts? How do I get to the listening part? It feels like having a knot in your muscle preventing your arm from moving fully. Except I have no idea what the knot is in my brain and how to undo it before I can ACTUALLY meditate, instead of just generating thoughts and being unable to detach my identification from them.

  13. The human condition is temporary. The goal should be to awaken before the entire planet is forced to awaken. Are you actually one year older on your birthday? There’s an entire universe , almost endless and ageless, and we focus on every day of the calendar year! The physical universe changes, but the ethereal remains mostly unchanged!

  14. The Whisper of Silent Waves
In the garden of forgotten moments, the twilight hums softly. A cascade of velvet winds drifts between the echoes of unseen dreams, weaving a delicate tapestry of floating whispers. Time itself dances on the edge of a teardrop, holding hands with the stars as they twirl through the ever-expanding spiral of forgotten yesterdays.

Beneath the surface of the liquid sky, shadows paint the air with hues of invisible blue. The sun rises backward, casting a luminous glow on the horizon of imaginary futures. Every drop of sound reverberates in silence, falling like feathers in a vacuum of infinite echoes.

The mountains of glass shiver in the warmth of the fleeting night, while the river flows upward, defying gravity with the grace of a swan in a mirror. The trees, rooted in the clouds, reach downward to embrace the earth, their branches adorned with petals of light and fragments of shadow.

A paradox sleeps beneath the ground, lulled by the hum of a silent song that plays only for the ears of time. Through the fabric of illusion, the distant echo of nothingness whispers softly, filling the void with the weight of forgotten whispers. Yet, in the stillness, everything remains—nothing has changed.

As the clock ticks sideways, the wind gathers its thoughts, dispersing them like leaves into the ocean of waiting clouds. The moon laughs in the language of silence, while the stars compose sonnets for the spaces between.

The end of the beginning merges with the start of the conclusion, leaving only a trail of invisible footsteps in the ever-shifting sands of nowhere. And in this moment of infinite nothing, everything fades into the eternal.

  15. I have horrible brain fog and I have like 13 different trains of thought running all at the same time without my conscious input, and then I have 2 or 3 trains that are actually thoughts I have on purpose, or that actually feel like mine, so I really cant be aware of what i’m thinking- like it’s too much to be properly aware of, i can barely slow down my on purpose thoughts enough to pay attention to them, how the heck can i pay attention to so many different thoughts all happening at the same time that I cannot slow down?

  16. If any thought comes in between your meditation, just stop and ask ‘what is the next thought?’ ❤.
    You’ll be thoughtless for atleast 3 minutes!🎉🎉

  17. I’d been struggling with meditating for quite a bit, watching videos, thinking I was doing it wrong. Sitting in stillness I still felt like I should have been doing more. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your explanation is the only one that clicked for me. Namaste.
